General Questions
Where are you located, and is there parking available?
I am currently located in Sola Salon Studios in Hauppauge. There is plenty of parking!
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Late cancellations are subject to a fee of up to half the service's total cost.
No-show appointments are subject to a fee of the full price of the service.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can do so conveniently from your booking confirmation email.
Do you require a deposit to secure a date?
Deposits are required for all bookings
How far in advance should I book?
That depends on your needs and my availability. I typically book out 3 weeks in advance.
Do you allow guests or children in the studio during the session?
Due to the space's size, I can only comfortably accommodate one guest.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit/debit cards for deposits, and cash or Zelle at the time of appointment. You can also conveniently pay in full using your card on file!
Ornamental Tattoos
What exactly is "Ornamental" tattooing?
Tattoos that focus on line work, dot work, flow, and designs that work with the body's natural curves.
Do you offer color or only black ink?
I only work with black ink 🖤
How long is a tattoo appointment?
minimum 2 hours, maximum 6 hours, depending on design size & placement.
Can I bring my own design, or do you only tattoo your own original flash/custom work?
I only tattoo my own flash and custom designs. For custom & collaborative designs, check out my Intuitive Tattoo Offering
Do you offer tattoo cover-ups?
No.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Be sure to hydrate your body with water & skin with lotion before your appointment. Do not worry about shaving, I will do that for you! Be mindful to choose clothes that make sense. ( no leggings for leg pieces/nothing too tight, etc.) No drugs, alcohol, Advil, or blood-thinning medication 24-48 hours before your appointment.
Process & Aftercare
How does the custom design process work?
For a custom design, a virtual Tattoo Consultation is required. From there, creating takes about 2 weeks maximum. You can find more information on my Tattoo offerings page
What does the healing process look like for fine line work?
Healing varies, as everyone's skin is different. You can expect to be fully healed after 2.5-3 weeks. Aftercare instructions & products are always provided for you at your appointment.
Do you offer touch-ups, and is there a fee for them?
Yes, I do. $50/hour for touch-ups.
Can I get a tattoo if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
No.
Permanent Makeup (Brows)
What is the difference between Microblading and Ombré Powder brows? And which one do you specialize in?
Microblading: Uses a manual, handheld blade to create small, paper-cut-like incisions that mimic hair strokes.
Powder Brows: Uses a single needle & tattoo machine to create a soft, "shaded" effect, similar to wearing daily brow powder or a light tint.
I Specialize in Powder Brows. Powder Brows are the gold standard for several reasons:
Skin Versatility: Unlike microblading, which can blur on oily skin or scar-sensitive skin, powder brows work beautifully on all skin types.
Longevity: This technique typically lasts longer and ages more gracefully, fading evenly over time rather than becoming patchy or blurry.
Less Trauma: The "shading" technique is less invasive than incisions, resulting in better pigment retention and a more comfortable healing process.
Customizable: It can be adjusted from an ultra-natural "barely there" tint to a more defined, "makeup-ready" look.
How long does PMU typically last before needing a touch-up?
The first touch-up is needed 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment. From there, healing varies depending on skin type and at-home care. You can expect to touch up powder brows once every 1-2 years.
Is the procedure painful?
Receiving power Brows is not painful. After the skin is open from the first “pass,” I always numb the area with medical-grade numbing cream. The majority of clients do not feel a thing!
Can PMU be done over an old tattoo from another artist?
Yes, it can! This is considered a Brow Correction
Suitability & Safety
Am I a good candidate for powder brows?
We will go over your consent form together at your appointment. Generally, if you are not pregnant, not on blood-thinning medication, not on Accutane, and do not have diabetes, you can receive powder brows.

Healing varies, as everyone's skin is different. You can expect to be fully healed after 2.5-3 weeks. Aftercare instructions & products are always provided for you at your appointment.
What does the healing process look like for fine line work?

How should I maintain my brows to prevent premature fading?
Avoid tanning beds or baking in the sun. If you are planning to be in the sun, consider wearing a hat or applying sunscreen to your brows as well. Avoid applying skin care products with active ingredients, such as retinol, vitamin C, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or chemical peels, directly to your brows. At home care will be provided to you at your appointment, it's important that you follow the directions to wash them properly and keep them hydrated. .
Can I get a tattoo if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Facials & Skincare
What are the benefits of getting a facial?
Facials will deeply cleanse your skin, exfoliate dead cells, hydrate dry areas, and improve overall tone and texture. They also promote relaxation and can address specific skin concerns, such as acne, fine lines, dark spots, and dullness.
How often should I get a facial?
Getting a facial every 4–6 weeks is ideal for most skin types to maintain healthy skin. However, the frequency may vary based on your skin's needs and concerns. Consult with your esthetician to create a schedule that works best for you.
Are organic skincare products effective?
Yes! Organic skincare products are made with natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin and free from harsh chemicals. They work effectively to nourish and rejuvenate your skin while reducing the risk of irritation.
Is organic skincare suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely! Organic skincare is often a great choice for sensitive skin because it avoids harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances that can cause irritation. We use gentle, high-quality products to care for your skin.
What should I do to prepare for my facial?
Avoid exfoliating for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Let your esthetician know about any skin conditions, allergies, or products you’re currently using. It’s best to book a facial on your day off, free of other commitments, to ensure your intention to relax is honored.
What is microneedling, and is it safe?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses tiny needles to stimulate collagen production, improving texture, reducing scars, and minimizing fine lines. It’s safe when performed by a trained professional and suitable for most skin types. You cannot receive this treatment if you’re pregnant or take any blood-thinning medications.
Can I wear makeup after a facial?
It’s best to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after your facial to allow your skin to breathe and fully absorb the treatment's benefits
How can I maintain my skin after a facial?
Stick to a gentle skincare routine, stay hydrated, wear sunscreen daily, and avoid touching your face. Your esthetician will provide personalized aftercare tips based on your skin's needs.
